How we do things differently.
When you are looking for sales training there
are many good sales trainers out there who can help give your people and
business a lift.
Sales is simple, not to be confused with easy.
Sales training will usually focus on the required behaviours as well as certain
processes to follow and a good sales trainer will usually give an immediate
uplift as well as longer term gains.
My belief is than sales training should be based on real life experiences
rather than recycled from a book.
So when considering my offering the easy option for me would be to create a
template course with a one size fits all approach which I could run sessions
externally and also drop into businesses for a day to deliver. After all,
whatever you are selling the principals of sales are the same. I am confident
this would deliver a short term lift and also long term benefits.
However, my main driver is my love for the science of sales. Being able to take
any product or service to market as I have done many times during my career and
during consultancy projects with Complete Sales Solutions.
So rather than giving bespoke but generic sales training, I have the skills and
ability so why not utilise these to provide bespoke and unique training to
businesses and the staff within them?
So that is exactly what I do.
I will integrate within the business to establish current working practices
approaching as if I were your Sales Director. By doing this I will establish
what your staff are doing well and look to improve on these as well as area’s
they are struggling with.
I will then write a training program tailored specifically to your proposition
and the needs of the staff within your business to achieve the goals you are
aiming for.
I will then deliver the training unique to you and your team. Yes there will be
behavioural aspects of the training that will apply to all teams, however the
systematic process elements of successful sales will be specific to you and
your team.
For me delivering the same training over and over does not provide me with the
challenge i thrive upon. My motivation is to take sales training one step
further where it improves behaviours and skills but also provides improvements
specific to the business unit as a whole, delivering measurable improvements to
performance and profitability.
